We often see and get motivated by the life stories of successful people.

These sentences are interwoven in almost all of them: “I started working and earning as a child, as a teenager. “It wasn’t easy for me, I had to”, “I wanted to help my parents”, “I was a curious child and I wanted to try it”, “I needed additional funds and it came to me as a good opportunity”, are just some of the statements of these people about their motives and beginnings.

Some as manual workers, some as spreaders, and more recently online, but the same applies to everyone, “Without a hoe, there is no bread”, even if the hoe is the computer or the mobile phone.

I’m sure that your children spend a lot of time in front of the screens, so why not show them some ways to make money online maybe they’ll show you how it’s done 😊

They will motivate you too. Let’s not be mistaken, today children are very advanced in these technologies. They live in a time when the world is in the palm of their hand and they want to see and go to many places, buy many things, and that requires money.

So don’t discourage them, rather motivate them!

Several Ways to Make Money Online as a Kid

Filling Out an Online Survey

This is perhaps the most popular way to make money online. The most popular site is Swagbuck. You only need to be 13 years old and you can apply. Here you are usually asked to watch video content, fill out surveys, click on ads, watch ads, play mini-games, and so on. Of course, you need to spend a lot more time to get some more serious earnings.

Podcast

If you like to talk and are not afraid of appearing on camera, starting a podcast might be a good idea. Showing sponsors here is very manageable. You can talk about anything that interests you and that interests other teenagers. You can talk about video games, sports, love, and many, many other topics.

Blog Monetization

The articles that bloggers publish are usually solutions to solve some problems that the potential audience has. They are publicly available online and anyone can find them. People who are interested in the topic usually find it through Google.

Blog pages display ads that readers click on and this is an opportunity to make money. In the beginning, until you publish a large number of articles and the blog appears on Google, there is no income, so you have to be persistent. Therefore, with constant and quality content, you will achieve beautiful results.

There are several ways of monetizing the blog: to run ads, to offer affiliate products, or perhaps to sell your own things that you make. Through affiliate links, you can get people to buy products from various online stores, and you will receive a commission for each product purchased through your link.

Youtube Video

CharlisCraftyKitchen is one of the many examples where an eight-year-old girl earns about $130,000 a month with her cooking videos. Unbelievable, but she is only part of the many. Hear below about those on Instagram…

Parents are also included in this segment. One of the most popular platforms has enabled many famous world faces and children to earn fabulous sums. Many parents have invested fully in this work with their children and it has paid off many times over. Here is just one example:

Everleigh Rose Soutas – this seven-year-old girl has over 5 million followers on Instagram. Instagram is run by her mother and it is estimated that she can earn between 10 and 17 thousand dollars per sponsored post.

However, this is the way in which most of the time parents are the bearers of the work and engagement. Let’s get back to what your kids can do and earn online without your help.

Management of Accounts on Social Networks

So you spend a lot of time on the Internet, and you navigate it very well, primarily using social media Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, so why not manage them?

Many owners and even celebrities do not have time to deal with this, so if you’re articulate, possess a good vocabulary, and can present yourself well, this could be an opportunity for you.

Creating Web Pages

Creating websites or blogs using WordPress, SquareSpace or Blogger is simple and doesn’t take much time. But there are people for whom it is certainly very difficult, but for you, it is surely an easy task and therefore it is worth trying.

Proofread or Editing

If you are one of those who enjoy English classes, you want to proofread, you are interested in grammar, this is a great opportunity to earn money for your affinities.

It should not surprise you that many adults do not know how to use English to its full potential. They are your potential customers, as well as the students who often ask for proofreading help.

Safety Tips for Kids – How to Protect Your Identity When Working Online

Since to start working you will have to register with your full name and surname. Also other contact information, for potential clients to contact you you should follow a few rules.

  • Set the e-mail account different from your personal one. Use this account for business messages only. In this way, you will be more organized and you will prevent those with bad intentions from contacting you on your personal e-mail.
  • Share only necessary information with others. Don’t give out your cell phone unless absolutely necessary. Best to use Google Voice or other services for calls. Don’t send customers friend requests.
